Le Mas des Oules
Reopening 1st April 2017.
‘Dahlia’ is a two bedroomed house facing the courtyard of the ‘Mas’.
The maginficent Pont du Gard is just one of the many attractions in the vicinity of le Mas des Oules.
Le Mas des Oules is a family run estate in the ‘Gard Provençal’. Historically it was the farm and winery of the château of Saint-Victor des Oules and has since been sympathetically converted into seven houses and apartments ranging from one to three bedrooms. The ‘Mas’ is set in grounds of 8ha and offers spectacular views across la plaine de l’Alzon to the Cévennes hills. There is plenty of space to relax and unwind and the large infinity pool offers a welcome escape from the soaring summer temperatures.
The town of Uzès with its spectacular Italianate architecture and renowned Saturday market is only 8km away. Largely pedestrianised, it is easy to spend a day exploring its medieval streets and squares. In the evenings you can enjoy an aperitif under the plane trees in the ‘Place aux Herbes’ before heading to one of the town’s excellent restaurants. Uzès remains ‘alive’ all year round with regular festivals and exhibitions ranging from a contemporary dance to a celebration of the truffle in January.
Further afield the sites of Provence and the Languedoc are all easily accessible, and the beaches of the Mediterranean are only an hour away.
